Merry Christmas 2008

Merry Christmas at our house. Trey was so cute he was so excited. Little kids make Christmas so much more fun. He got roller skate from his cousin and he will not take them off. He wore them to bed the first night but he keeped hitting the wall with his feet the whole night so no more of that. And Brennan is so close to walking. He walks around with his new car and will stand up in the middle of the room. I bet in the next week we are done for.

Snow Boarding

It snowed so much Caleb wanted to get his snow board out. So Trey had to try it out.

Christmas Lights

We went to see the Christmas light at Temple square and it was so much fun. The boys were so good and they had fun. At first I was worried that they won't because it was so cold!! And once we where there looking at the lights Trey wanted to go inside. So we ate at The Garden restaurant and I was so proud that the boys were so good. They told us that the wait would be a half an hour and it turned out to be an hour. But the boys had fun going up and down and hall and playing I spy, so we waited.

Happy anniversary!

It was our anniversary on Dec. 12. We have been married for seven years. I can't believe that it has been this long. Time flies by so fast. We meet each other back in 1996 my sophomore year and his junior year. We had a math class together. We started dating that next year, so that makes it that we have been together for 10 years. Wow!

I love you Caleb, you have brought so much joy and happiness to my life. You are such a good dad and husband. He always helps out with the kids day and night. You are so thoughtful, (When ever he goes to get himself clothes he always comes home with something for me.) He worries about everyone in our family when we are sick. He becomes a better mom then I am. And you make me smile. I love you Caleb, and I hope that I make you happy as much as you make me happy.

Girls just want to have fun!

We had a 80's girls night out and had so much fun. It was my friend Katie and Ryan's anniversary so we went out to party with the girls. Half of us dress up and the other half just came normal. We went to PF changs to eat and everyone was looking at us the whole night. I don't know why? Jamie, Josi, and I just looked like every day don't you think? After we ate we went into the mall to say hi to a friend that was working. While we where there these high school kids asked if they could take there picture with us. Don't worry, us moms still got it! Ha Ha. Then we went to Fat Cats to bowl and dance the night away. I bet that everyone there thought oh look at those zoobies. In realty we are moms that don't think that we are getting old. I love all of you girls, love you Katie, and I hope that you had fun. Until next time. And every body better dress up. Sick kids all around.

Well it is the time of year to get sick but I never thought we would get this. Brennan started getting a fever on Sunday and then Monday was crazy! He threw up twice and had a fever that got up to 104 and pooping all day. Then the next day still the same but a little better. But he would not eat or drink anything, so we had to syringe it into his mouth. Then Wed. he was still the same so we toke him to the doctor and they said that its just a virus that is going around but he has had diaherea problems sense he has been eating solid food; so the doctor wanted to take some blood and poop samples to see if he is allergic to anything. Well if you have had to collect your babies poop before it is hard when their poop is water. We are still waiting to hear what the test say. So with having water poop that goes every where, I have been doing none stop laundry (I have washed my bed spread three times now, I'm so glad that I didn't get a new one this last year). Then my mother in law (that is a nurse) told me that he has roto virus because the way his breath stinks and his poop has an awful smell (I have never smelt anything like it), and she says that he will probably have bad poop for the next 20 days.

So then today Trey has been great through it all and this morning he said that he was feeling fine and I toke him to pre school. So I go to pick him up and they told me that he had just thrown up three times. I felt so bad I just keeped telling him I'm sorry and he finally said "for what". And now he has a fever of 102. At least he goes in the toilet, well maybe?

This last week was crazy with Thanksgiving, working, family in town, and Treys birthday then this sickness. It doesn't really feel like Christmas yet. I hope that they all feel good by Christmas time so that they can enjoy it. But I would have to say I have the cutest kids. With not feeling good they have been smiling and happy threw it all. You know that when you have times like these you would think that you won't want to be a Mom. But it make me appreciate what great kids I do have and that WOW I am their Mom and they just want to snuggle up to me. What a great feeling.

Happy Early Birthday!

Well we had an early birthday party for Trey. His birthday is Dec. 28 but I hate that it is so close to Christmas and with Brennan now being two week after that I needed to spread them out. My sister Joy was going to be in town so I thought with the cousins here why not have a party. It was so cute thought Trey was saying "it is December 28th today", we all just went along with it.

That morning was crazy. I did Joys, Conrad, and my grandma's hair and then had to pick up food and balloons and stuff. So Caleb made the cake and he did a great job. He bought the ship, Luke and R2D2 that crash on Yoda planet. So he smashed the ship into the cake to make it look like it crashed. So If anyone needs a cake made just ask Caleb.

I love you Trey, you have brought so much joy into our lives. You are so thoughtful and always will say I love you, the best is when we put you down for bed you will tell us "sweat dreams". You are a great older brother and a great son. We love you and Happy Birthday! Can you tell he loves Star Wars.





We had been asking Brayden to do a magic show for us so for Treys Birthday he finally agreed. He did one for us this last summer and he did this trick on Conrad and he freaked out because he doesn't wear a bra. Well Rick wasn't there so we had to do that trick on him.

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving. We went to Calebs Dads house for the main course and had a blast. Jody and my sister in laws are great cooks so everything was so good thank you. And all of the kids love to be together and us parents love that they just go off and play. Then we went to Calebs Moms house for later dinner, and then Trey had a sleep over and my parents house with all of those cousins. My Mom bought all of the kids matching PJs (well the boys matched and the girls matched). Trey thought it was so cool that him and Conrad had the same clothes on. I didn't get any pictures of all the kids in their PJs, you can just imagen 8 kids taking a picture.

Kids Village program

Trey had his Halloween program at pre school. I love these programs because all the kids are dressed up and standing "not all singing" for you. Trey did better this year then he did last year but I wouldn't say that he will be on broadway any time soon. This is his friend Max Layne, He has had so much fun being in the same class as him. I can tell they will be good buddies. The best though was when Trey asked me what Max's last name was I told him and he said back Max "Lame". So I'm so sorry if he ever calls him that Holly.

Pumpkin Carving Party

We had a Halloween pumpkin carving party at Grandma and Grandpa Houghtons house last night. All of the cousins wore their costumes and we ate yummy homemade chili, carved pumkins, and then the kids frosted there own surgar cookies. I forgot my camera so I didn't get us "carving pumkins". And Caleb couldn't come so when you have Brennan crying and Trey wanting me to carve two pumkins I didn't bother anyone to take our picture. It is so fun to get together with everyone because all of the cousins have so much fun. We have a great family. We wish you could be here Peggy and Ted.

Neighborhood Halloween Party

It was our annual neighborhood Halloween party. We have lived in this neighborhood for over two years now and we have so much fun with all of the parties. This party everyone usually will get decked out. So I had to steal Katie's dress from bunco because I thought it was so beautiful! I had to look my best, and we were so happy to find our other sister wife at the party. I didn't get pictures of everyone so enjoy the ones I have. Don't worry that we look like we are 15 years old.

Bunco

This month for Bunco we dressed up for Halloween. We had so much fun! We decided to dress up a few days before so I didn't know if everyone would dress up, but come to my surprise they all looked so good!
